Last week, we had our final walk for this year from Macaulay (North Melbourne) to the city.

I hope you all enjoyed our walks and it was good to see several of our newer members joining us.

Our walks will resume in February.

The Walking Group undertakes easy 5-6 km walks on the  second Wednesday of each month ending up with lunch at a local pub or cafe.

The Group was established in 1991 and, in its early days, members walked from Olinda to The Basin, from Canterbury to Balwyn’s Maranoa Gardens, from Deepdene to Canterbury Gardens, along the beach from St Kilda to Brighton, around Albert Park Lake, Jells Park, and Westerfolds Park.
In recent times, members have walked from Frog Hollow to Canterbury, from Ashburton to Kooyong, from Belgrave to Ferntreee Gully, along the Blackburn Creeklands and around Blackburn Lake, around Carlton, Essendon, Richmond, St Kilda, Hawthorn, Fitzroy, Balwyn and Glen Iris as well the Royal Botanical Gardens, Banksia Park, from St Patrick’s Cathedral to St. Paul’s Cathedral, from Port Melbourne to St Kilda, around Melbourne’s lanes and arcades, Studley Park, from Balwyn to Box Hill, from Flinders Street station to Harbour Town and from Mont Albert to Camberwell.

All members, partners and friends are welcome to JOIN US.
