Originally called the “Caravan and Camping Group” when it was established  in 2002, we  arrange two or three trips each year within a range of about 150km from “home” – for periods of 3-5 days – to “discover” Victoria and southern Australia.

Members stay in caravan park cabins or motels, and spend their time away visiting and exploring local interest spots.

Since its formation in 2002, the Group has travelled to, and toured, 24 Victorian towns and regions, including –

  • Airey’s Inlet and Anglesea
  • Ballarat
  • Barwon Heads
  • Beechworth
  • Bendigo
  • Cowes
  • Dromana
  • Echuca
  • Geelong
  • Healesville
  • Inverloch
  • Lakes Entrance
  • Mornington Peninsula
  • Phillip Island
  • Queenscliff
  • Seymour
  • Stawell and the Grampians
  • Warragul
  • Wangaratta
  • Yarrawonga.

In 2016, the Group ventured further afield with trips to Canberra and Mount Gambier. Our most recent trip was to Cobram..

The Group has always had excellent trips because of the attitude of members and the spirit of camaraderie and goodwill.
