Family History Group
We meet on the third Tuesday of the month, except December.
During the COVID19 lockdown, meetings are held as ZOOM Meetings.

At “home” meetings, which are held at the Balwyn Baptist Church, 517 Whitehorse Road Balwyn and commence at 9.30am, members discuss their genealogical research and listen to guest speakers.
However, every second month, members visit relevant places of interest, e.g., historical societies, libraries, museums, etc.
In addition to the research discussions, members also make presentations about their family history and those presentations are always thoroughly enjoyed by the audience.
The Group also hosts the “start-of-year” lunch at the RACV Club in Melbourne and the “Christmas in July” mid-year lunch, and has visited the Living Legends and Woodlands Estate at Greenvale, the MCG and National Sports Museum, Rupertswood (the historic house in Sunbury), Westgarthtown, the Immigration Museum, Boroondara and Springvale Cemeteries, Schramm’s Cottage in Doncaster, Williamstown and the Percy Grainger Museum.
All members, partners and friends are always welcome!
